Another Day, Another Perfect Phone Call

I’d bet that at least some of our President’s political advisors and staff wish that our President would exclusively use Twitter rather than a telephone as his only method of communication.

Marching Through Georgia & the Law

Legal challenges and three distinct formal recounts have failed to reveal voter fraud or voting “irregularities” that could, in the opinion of our U.S. Justice Department:

“…change the outcome of the 2020 election.”

Apparently, this matters not to our President, who undertook what must be yet another “perfect” phone call urging Brad Raffensperger, Georgia Secretary of State. to find enough votes to overturn the November federal election results in Georgia, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Choking on Goober Peas

Apparently, the Trump campaign legal team and others have filed 51 challenges to the 2020 U.S. Presidential Election results in Arizona, Michigan, New Mexico, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Georgia. Of those, only two challenges are “ongoing“ and those are appeals of decisions rendered by judges or appellant courts that rejected cases brought by the campaign or its allies.

What About Election Fraud?

It seems to me that asking an elected state official to “reexamine” the certified vote to “find” a number that would overturn the results of the election is an attempt to solicit election fraud. That is, in Georgia and all other states, a criminal offense.
