Glenn Beck—Celebrated Humorist
Fox News commentator Glenn Beck causes some listeners to suffer historically high blood pressure. However, Mr. Beck is not crazy; instead, he’s a humorist on the order of Will Rogers!

It must be as obvious to you by now, as it is to me, that Glenn Beck did not really mean that, for examples, President Barack Obama is a socialist, a purveyor of radical Marxism, and a person ”…with a deep-seated hatred for white people or the white culture.”
After all, if one believed these to be factual, one would also have to believe that Obama somehow hypnotized 69,500 US citizens who voted for him. Those votes gave Obama a 365 – 173 electoral vote advantage.
No, Glenn Beck must, instead, use outrageous humor to remind us that our nation is still strong, viable, and vital. After all, Beck said this about Obama:
I’m not saying he doesn’t like white people…I’m saying he has a problem. He has a—this guy is, I believe, a racist.
That compares well with Will Rogers, who made this outlandish statement:
The Lord so constituted everybody that no matter what color you are you require the same amount of nourishment.
